Double Glazed Conservatories Southend, Essex – Building Regulations
A domestic conservatory will normally be exempt from control by Building Regulations. Here are some of the requirements for exemption for conservatories:

  1. The conservatory must be constructed at ground level.
  2. The conservatory must be separated from the property by a physical barrier..
  3. The floor area of the conservatory must not be larger that 30 sqm
  4. The walls of the conservatory must be at least 75% glazing.
  5. The spec of the conservatory glazing must comply with Building Regs.
